About Me

Why blog

I normally become interested in something, then go down a rabbit hole learning a ton of stuff about it which I then would use to build or implement something. After its working I would not touch it again for possibly a few years and forget all about it. So the main purpose of this blog is to remind my future self of what was done and if this helps someone else bonus!

NOTE: My spelling sucks, excuse mistakes. 😂

Hobbies

Mostly what this blog will be about.

I only really have two hobbies:

  1. Fiddle with all things electronic
  2. Lifting weights 💪

Childhood

I grew up in a middle class family with a wonderful childhood and two loving parents. From a young age I have been facinated by how things work, taking little toy cars apart, especially those you windup by pulling them back and when you let go they race off. I was also intrigued by how the atari systems managed to produce images and sound from just a block dot located within the plugin cartridges, yes I loved taking those apart, fortunatly they are pretty hard to break as well 😃.

Studies

I did reasonably well at school from an academic point of view and decided around age 14-15 that I want to persue a career in electronic engineering. I was also in a very fortunate situation where my parents payed for my studies for atleast the first few years, after which I managed to get a job and studied while working doing night classes. This allowed me to get a BTECH in Electronic Engineering.

Work

I have filled a variety of roles a few listed as:

  1. Devops Engineer
  2. Automation Engineer
  3. Sales Engineer
  4. Test System Engineer

Some cool projects I worked on:

Building busbars

CO2 Laser Pulse Compressor

Baggage Diverter
